Since July 1, 2026, Binance can no longer legally serve European Union customers without a full MiCA license. An estimated 35 million EU users must find a new exchange. To attract them, OKX, Bitvavo, Bybit EU, and Kraken launched migration bonus campaigns — but not all of them are still open.

This guide reports verified data on campaigns active as of July 22, 2026: which bonuses you can still claim, what conditions are hidden in the marketing, and what happens if you wait any longer.

⚠️ Update July 22, 2026: The OKX 8% bonus is closed since June 28. Bybit EU 3% and Kraken €1M draw both expire July 31 — 9 days remaining. Only Bitvavo stays open until September 30.

Bonus Status — July 2026

Exchange Bonus Status Deadline
OKX EU 5–8% deposit ❌ Closed Jun 28, 2026
Bybit EU 3% cashback ✅ Active Jul 31, 2026
Kraken €1M prize draw ✅ Active Jul 31, 2026
Bitvavo Up to 10% APY
(≈2.7% effective)
✅ Active Sep 30, 2026

OKX EU 8%: The Train Has Left the Station (Closed June 28)

The OKX campaign was the most generous of the MiCA cycle: up to 8% on new deposits, capped at 40,000 USDC on deposits up to $500,000, paid over 52 weeks (26 bi-weekly cycles). Structured on three tiers: 5% for deposits from $10 to $10,000; 6% from $10,001 to $100,000; 8% above $100,000.

The campaign ended early on June 28, 2026 at 12:00 GMT+2 — before its originally advertised end date. Users who opted in and deposited before that date continue receiving bi-weekly payments for up to 52 weeks. New users cannot access the bonus.

Note: For existing OKX users notified by email, the opt-in could follow the deposit. For new users, opt-in had to precede any deposit. Existing balances before enrollment did not qualify.

Bybit EU 3%: Active, but Expires July 31 (9 Days Left)

Bybit EU launched its "Move Your Funds, Get Rewarded" campaign on June 19, 2026, running through July 31, 2026. The platform holds a MiCA license issued by Austria's FMA and is authorized to serve users across all 27 EU member states.

The mechanics: 3% annualized cashback on crypto deposits — not 3% paid immediately. On a €10,000 deposit held for the 180-day lock period, the effective cashback is approximately €148, not €300.

Key condition: The cashback requires a 180-day lock-up period. Withdrawing funds before 180 days forfeits any uncredited cashback.

Kraken's €1M Prize Draw: A Lottery, Not a Guaranteed Return

Kraken chose a different approach: instead of a percentage bonus on deposits, it offers a €1,000,000 total prize draw. Every euro deposited between June 22 and July 31, 2026 earns one entry. Open to new and existing users across all 27 EU member states.

The critical distinction: this is not a guaranteed yield. Your probability of winning depends entirely on the total euros deposited by all participants. Depositing €1,000 earns 1,000 entries — but if the total campaign pool reaches €100 million in deposits, the odds become vanishingly small.

Kraken remains one of the strongest regulatory choices in Europe: dual licensed under MiCA via the Central Bank of Ireland and MiFID II via CySEC — the highest combined regulatory standing available to a crypto exchange operating in the EU. It has operated since 2011 with quarterly independently verified Proof of Reserves.

Bitvavo 10% APY: The Longest Window — But "10%" Isn't What You Think

Bitvavo is the only exchange keeping its campaign open until September 30, 2026, with a final payout on October 14, 2026. It is also the most complex offer to understand correctly.

The headline says "up to 10% APY". In practice, 10% APY equals approximately 2.7% effective return on your deposit, because the promotion lasts ~98 days, not a full year. Here are the real tiers:

Trading volume (× deposit) APY rate Effective % on deposit
No trading (base) 4% APY ≈ 1.1%
5× deposit 5% APY ≈ 1.3%
10× deposit 6% APY ≈ 1.6%
20× deposit 10% APY ≈ 2.7%

On a €50,000 deposit with 20× trading volume (€1,000,000 in orders), the estimated bonus is approximately €1,342 — 2.68% of the deposit. Not 10%.

Additional conditions: the bonus accrues only on days when auto-earn (staking + lending) is enabled. Only crypto deposits count — fiat and euro bank transfers are excluded. One deposit account per user.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the OKX 8% bonus still available in July 2026? +

No. OKX terminated its campaign early on June 28, 2026. Users who opted in and deposited before that date continue receiving bi-weekly payments for 52 weeks. New users can no longer access the bonus.

What does Bitvavo's "10% APY" actually mean? +

Bitvavo's 10% APY equals approximately 2.7% effective return on your deposit. The promotion runs ~100 days and 10% APY is annualized. The 10% tier also requires 20× your deposit in trading volume. Without trading, the base rate is 4% APY (~1.1% effective).

Is the Kraken €1M prize draw a guaranteed bonus? +

No. It is a lottery — every euro deposited earns one entry. Your winning probability depends on total deposits from all participants across the full campaign.

What happens if I miss the July 31 deadline for Bybit and Kraken? +

Both Bybit EU 3% cashback and Kraken €1M draw close on July 31, 2026. After that, new deposits on these platforms earn no bonus. Bitvavo (10% APY) remains open until September 30.

Can I participate in multiple bonuses at the same time? +

Yes. Bonuses are independent across different exchanges. You can deposit on Bybit EU for the cashback, on Kraken for the prize draw, and on Bitvavo for the APY bonus — provided you meet each platform's KYC requirements.

Bottom Line

The post-MiCA migration is real and so are the bonuses designed to attract it. But not all bonuses are equal: OKX already closed, Bybit and Kraken expire July 31, and Bitvavo's "10%" hides a much lower effective rate. The good news is that all three remaining options come from exchanges holding full MiCA authorization — regulatory compliance is guaranteed.

If you're still on Binance EU or an exchange without a CASP license, the time to act is now. Don't wait until July 31 to discover there's no time left to complete KYC.
